EMCO BUILDING appoints new CEO

EMCO Building is pleased to announce that it has promoted Ron Keogh to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Ron has been part of the EMCO Building team since 2000, having originally joined the company as Business Development Manager before being promoted to General Manager in 2008.

A highly experienced construction executive, Ron has previously worked for a large precast concrete producer in the United Kingdom and for the UK arm of a European based multi-national company. He has an honours degree in Economics, a post graduate diploma in International Marketing and an advanced certificate from the Institute of Management (UK).

EMCO Building is a privately owned building company with current works under contract valued at in excess of $200 million.

Ron has been a key driving force behind the growth of EMCO, helping to guide the company through the tough days of the GFC and the better times that have followed.

Central to our success is our commitment to building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, sub contractors and of course our staff. While construction is very much about the ‘bricks and mortar’, it is the people in the industry who make it happen, and EMCO appreciates that the success of the company is very much a reflection on the success and strength of our team.

EMCO Building has defied market trends to achieve ongoing growth over several years. The company now employs a team of more than 50 staff and has the capabilities and capacity to successfully handle the most complex of projects.

Ron’s promotion will ensure that EMCO will continue to enjoy further success and growth, providing stability and focus in what remains a challenging market.”

Bottleyard Apartments

The installation of the Public Art works to the main lift shaft is complete and looks great. The artist, flown over from Belgium to do the work, is one off a number of artists producing works for this building drawing on both local and interstate talent to produce a truly iconic look.

With the fit out of the apartments complete the focus has moved to external works including the various floor finishes, timber archways, planter boxes, fencing & gates.
